Stained Glass Safety Info:

Stained glass pieces are made using lead-based solder and are not meant to be handled excessively. What does this mean? Your piece is safe to touch but I recommend hanging it after purchasing & admiring it with your eyes! Keep your stained glass away from small children who may want to put it in their mouth. Wearable stained glass pieces, however, are made using a lead free solder & are safe to handle & wear as frequently as you want.

Stained Glass Care:

Don’t use any harsh cleaners on your piece. Dust as needed by lightly rubbing piece with a dry microfiber towel. Piece has been polished but solder lines may dull over time. To maintain a polished look, you may use a carnauba-based wax to polish solder lines. I use Mother’s Carnauba car wax. Apply wax by lightly rubbing all over piece with a dry towel, let sit 15 minutes, and polish off gently with a microfiber cloth. Wax your piece no more than once a year. Feel free to message me with any further questions about care.

Fused Glass Care:

Avoid putting your fused glass items in the microwave, as the heat can crack the glass. Items such as bowls, plates, and coasters are technically dishwasher safe but repeated dishwasher cleanings can cause the glass to become cloudy and dulled over time. I recommend handwashing with warm water and dish soap.
