Date Night Fused Picture Frame Class
This class takes place on Thursday January 8th from 6:30-8:30pm at our studio located at 2131 East Michigan Street. This is a date night style class in which one ticket is good for two people. You will work together in your pair to create one picture frame. Does date night mean you have to come with a significant other?? Of course not! Bring your partner, bestie, mom, sister, cousin, etc and make a frame together that you can display a picture of you two in! In this class, we will be making fused glass picture frames that will be turned into a magnet that fits a 4×6” photo. You do not need to bring a photo with you, as your pieces will need to be fired in the kiln and picked up at a later date. You’ll learn the skills of cutting and grinding glass and applying frit to create your unique frame. I will then fire your frames in the kiln and glue magnets to the back so it can be used on any magnetic surface (such as a refrigerator). This is a beginner friendly class.
Participants must be 18 or older to register for this class. There will be no refunds for cancellation but a 50% credit will be given towards a future class if 24+ hours notice is given. If an emergency arises preventing you from taking the class, please notify me via email and we will work something out.
